What’s the best way to kill a flying bug? You trap it! Sure, they may not be those big ol’ flies you use to see at grandma’s house, but flying pests can do plenty of damage to your garden (aside from being just plain annoying). That’s why at GrowAce you’ll be able to not only kill crawling bugs on your plants, but flying pests that swarm around your garden. How? With the use of Sticky Traps.
Sticky Traps are made just like the fly traps you’re used to seeing, only less messy and with a larger surface area. The great thing about these traps is that they’re non-poisonous, so hanging these traps in an environment of constantly moving air won’t spread poisons on to your plants. And the only time you need to swap them out is when they’re full of bugs- you won’t find your trap suddenly laying on your plants like other traps with expiration dates.
These come in two colors with two specific uses. The Yellow Stick Traps has a mixture made to protect your plants by attracting Aphids, Whiteflies, Mosquitoes, and other flying insects to the trap. The Blue Stick Traps we offer are made to protect your grow from Thrips, Leafminers, and bugs of the sort. Of course, either trap can be used for general use, but if you have more aphids and whiteflies, the yellow trap might be best for you. Otherwise, if thrips are your main source of frustration, they’ll be better attracted to the blue traps. Either way, when you hang one or two of those traps above each plant, bugs flying throughout your garden will stick to each trap when moving from plant to plant. Use these traps in combination with neem oil solutions and washes, and you’ve got a garden free of pests and all the problems that come with them.
