I will say, when I first used this device, the instructions printed on the package are actually wrong in how they direct a person to setup automatic feeding. It was not clear in which direction the switch should go, it just said switch it to the clock position. In reading that, it seemed pretty obvious which way to put the switch, but that's when I discovered that the instructions were in fact wrong, because the timer never did anything and plants never got watered.Suffice it to say, I said to myself, well then it must be the other way and low and behold, it was. The switch is in the lower position, when I thought the instructions said it should be in the upper position based on how it described a 'clock' icon on the switch.It was slightly annoying at first, being a new grower and it reduce my confidence briefly with Growace but once I figured things out, my confidence returned.This is a critical review but I am definitely satisfied. I would just ask to have the package re-printed to reflect the correct instruction so someone doesn't kill their plants putting full trust in the instructions and then leaving their plants for any number of days not knowing that they won't get fed if not in the right position. I hope I win the $250 for this! :)

This is such a handy device, durable and easy to use. I used several of this device to set-up my saltwater reef aquarium. Now the lights and skimmer are all timer controlled. No more trouble with too much or too little light. I plan to buy some more for my hydroponic garden set up
