The SolarXtreme grow light delivers efficiency like that of a 400W LED by just consuming 200W of energy. The new chip-on-board design ensures increased lumen output per square inch, higher productivity, and light uniformity as there are multiple light sources embedded on a single substrate. The AC drive technology of the unit does not require LED drivers and offers high electrical efficiency, lesser fluctuations.

The grow light has the dimensions8.5" x 8.5" x 4", which makes it the perfectly-sized fixture for smaller growing spaces. Its vegetative footprint is up to 3' x 3' at 18” height and 12” height; it can cover 2.5' x 2.5' area. The 250W grow light is highly efficient as it withdraws 200 watts of energy and can replace a 400 watt LED.

It emits full-spectrum white light that consists of all the wavelengths which are crucial for a plants’ nourishment. Full-spectrum light is perfect for your indoor plants as it provides sufficient energy to carry the process of photosynthesis. You need not worry about setting the light temperature, color spectrums manually as the full spectrum light emits the perfect spectral blend, which won’t harm the plants unless placed closer to the light than the recommended distance.

Its PPFD is reported at 500 μmol/m2/s when the distance between the plantation and the LED is 18’’, and 800 μmol/m2/s when the distance between the two is about 12”. The LED fixture has been designed for small scale growing spaces, domestic and indoor plantations.

The LED board is backed up by a large aluminum heatsink and cooling fans to eliminate excessive heat from the system as overheating can decrease the efficiency of the LEDs. Aluminum metal has great thermal conductivity properties that get rid of the system heat rapidly.

The grow light system is equipped with driverless COB LEDs that offer higher efficiency and make sure there are no fluctuations.
