The Yield Lab double ended HPS bulb is more stable than the traditional single ended bulbs, which in turn makes it possible for the double ended globes to produce an extra 10% PAR output and intensity level. With a lifespan of over 24,000 hours and higher luminescence efficiency, the HPS bulbs are designed to improve plant yield.

Double ended metal halide bulbs have an increased life expectancy (24,000+ hours) and a higher output of 85,000 lumens when compared to a traditional single ended MH bulb. The double ended MH bulbs also benefit from a slower rate of degradation, meaning that even after 10,000 hours of use the bulbs will still keep 90% of their original intensity.

The Yield Lab dimmable ballast has been designed with a variable watt range making it ideally suited for an array of different sized grow light systems. The slim line ballast has lower power consumption and a dimmable control that can reduce heat and intensity by up to 50%

Measuring 21.5” x 20”, the Yield Lab Pro Series double ended air cool hood reflector is easy to assemble and comes with simple instructions. With 6” ducted air vents, the air cool hood reflector maximizes the amount of usable light plants can absorb, without overheating.
