The digital replacement timer for the stock analog is much better in my opinion. The internal clock on the analog clocks can be miscalibrated as was the case with mine which can lead to overwatering. All timers are run on a 24 hour clock, but my analog clock was actually working on a 16-18 hour window. This means if I set my clock to 20:00 for the first feeding (8PM), the next day at 20:00 (8PM) my timer would actually show between 2:00-4:00 (2am-4am). Growace was quick to address the situation and send a YouTube video on how to replace it. It is very simple to uninstall the old one and reinstall the new one. Programming the digital timer is a little weird, but once you figure it out it’s easy AND precise. I also suggested they make the digital timer the stock option for the Aircube and they said it is their plan by the end of year to have all new units ship with digital timers.
