The 6-site AirCube is designed for a 5x5ft growing area (25 sqft). Each grow bucket is 10"x10"x12", and the full system including tubing fits comfortably in any standard 5x5 tent. If you're running a 4x4, the 6-site system still fits — you'll just have a little less walkable space around the buckets.
The AirCube system comes with everything for the water automation. You'll need to supply four basics:
1. Clones or seedlings — your plants to grow.
2. Plant nutrients — any brand works, mixed into the reservoir water.
3. Grow medium — coco coir, clay pebbles, or soil all work in the fabric pots.
4. A grow space — a tent, garage, or dedicated room.

Yes — the AirCube brain controller supports up to 36 buckets. Start with the 6-site kit and add individual buckets or upgrade to a larger kit whenever you're ready to scale. Standard ebb and flow systems use plastic pots that trap roots, limiting root zone size and oxygen exposure. AirCube's proprietary fabric pots air-prune roots as they grow — forcing the plant to grow denser, more complex root networks. Combined with the bottom-lifted drain design that pulls oxygen down to the root zone on every drain cycle, plants get significantly more oxygen than with any other ebb and flow system on the market. It's actually one of the more beginner-friendly methods because the automation handles the hardest part — feeding timing. Once you fill the reservoir with nutrient solution and set the flood intervals on the brain controller, the system runs itself. You just top up nutrients as needed and watch your plants grow. About time some one designed a compact ebb and flow system. Perfect start!!!
High quality parts, well thought out, doesn't leak, super modular and easy to reconfigure for different plant counts. I find it very hard to fault this system in any way. See it unboxed, installed, and it's first run (Apple Candie by Elev8) on my YouTube at Native Sugar Shack.
Was easy to set up, no leaks and is easy to use.
Starting my first garden with the air cube system, set up 7 cubes; so far has been a breeze. I added nutrient mix into reservoir, set the timer and the brain does the rest.
I’m new at this, but started last year with DWC, but stumbled with the water getting too hot. Once I started using the AirCube active aqua ebb and flow system with chiller I had no more worries. My 4th grow in about a year, and by far my best, 1st grow with AirCubes. In fact I just ordered a second system to cover a 2nd tent which I will do SCROG in.

I was designing buckets to avoid root rot, when I saw these, I threw away my plans, this is everything I wanted, and more. I look forward to seeing the results.
This is my third ebb/flow bucket system. I won’t name brands but let me just say don’t waste your time with any other system but GrowAce. These buckets bottom drain and keep your bags suspended on a bed of risers so roots never set in water, the bags can breathe!! The components are all super sturdy, heavy walled plastic, I can’t imagine ever having to replace anything but bags for a long, long, long time…
Honestly the system is worth the cost.
Great product that produces some beautiful plants
Bought this product because it was the only I'd heard of that boasted being a hydroponic system that had the option of using soil.
I was skeptical y'all, really was.
But, with a super soil mix and using a blend of salts and organics, this thing, at least so far, is amazing! Yes, you can actually use soil!
I'm a seed to soil guy, have been all my life for the past 17 years. Can't beat the taste is all I'm saying. The comfort and ease of hydro coupled with the option of a soil medium is a total game changer.
System was easy enough to to set up. Easier than tents are anyway lol, and so far I've had no leaks, clogs, ect. Clogging was my #1 fear, but the fabric pots hold it in nice and tidy.
(If using soil, don't flood it. Keep the soil particles in the fabric pot and you'll be fine.)
Only thing is I wish it had a daily/weekly timer. If you're using soil, esp in veg/early flower, you really only need to water once every few days. Only in late flower do you gotta water daily. Still, amazing product and well worth the skrill.
Haven't completed a full run yet, so remind me in a year or so for a follow up review focusing on the longevity of the product, ect.

AirCube Active Oxygen Ebb & Flow Grow System - 12 Site
I needed to purchase a short 3/4 inch to 3/4 inch one way plastic check valve (from online, I believe it was being sold as a replacement part for a hot tub pump) and install it immediately/directly above the drain pump inside of the "brain" bucket to prevent back flow from the drain tube. The pumps included in the system do not have back flow prevention, so the drain water exiting the brain bucket up the 1.5 ft and into the reservoir goes right back into the bucket just enough to cause the lower float to activate. This lead to a perpetual on off cycling of the drain pump every few seconds. Obviously this would not be good for the longevity of the pump woth drain cycles being 2 to 4 hours long between fills, or even longer depending on growing medium.
Also, I tried several different lengths of tubing on the drain hose to see if that effected/stopped the drain pump cycling on and off. The instructions say to cut the drain tube long enough to extend from the lid of the brain bucket to the bottom of the reservoir. This is when I first experienced the cycling. I tried progressively shorter lengths of tube including short enough to barely make it to the reservoir - there was no length of tube that prevented the drain pump from cycling. The check valve, to me, is a required part of this system that GrowAce didn't include for whatever reason. I am extremely detailed and foowed the instructions meticulously, I firmly believe anyone buying this system will experience this issue.
Other than having to spend 10 bucks for the check valve and 10 bucks some extra tubing, the system is awesome. I haven't began a grow yet, but I will have results of the beginning process of that in 2 weeks.
TLDR: great system, you need to buy a check valve to prevent drain water back flow.
