Ebb and flow hydroponics (also known as "flood and drain" hydroponics) is one of the most popular soil-free methods of growing plants. Here's how it works:
Unlike other ebb and flow systems, AirCube's utilize oxygen intake and fabric pots to air prune roots. Plus, with its proprietary drainage design your plants get more oxygen faster than with other systems on the market.
Simply put, air pruning is the process of roots receiving oxygen, drying out, and falling off (or pruning). AirCube systems facilitate this through the use of fabric grow pots and its proprietary bottom lifted drainage design.
Most hydroponic systems keep roots moist all the time, preventing air pruning.
AirCube's, on the other hand, completely drains every bucket so no extra water's hanging around. As roots grow and pass through the fabric grow pots, they dry out and prune themselves.

Thing works as it should I had one before just like it, but not that same these buckets are better with more air flow and bigger res. Got this setup in a 10x5 with 5 led lights. Plants are 28 days old just topped . But the plants love the new setup
Got my system to try out. I enjoy having the setup it has been a breeze after setting up. No leaks. The only thing I would recommend doing is adding additional fittings that go in the bottom of the pots. I would love to see a 90 degree fittings so I donβt have tubing bending in my 8x4 tent. So my tubing remains in between the pots and not take additional room up so I can have even spaced pots. Plants do absolutely love the system with the right nutrients I use Athena proline.
I absolutely cannot say enough at how awesome this setup is. It's legitimately helped me start my own legal business, this system is well built with sturdy reliable material, works as it absolutely should, my only complaint which they rectified immediately was the pumps power cable for the 105-gal reservoir was just a taf to short. Other than that this system is absolutely amazing I applaud the creator... if I could give 10 stars I would so π ππππππππππ―π―π―π

This kit was easy to assemble and had no leaks and everything worked flawlessly for the 5 times I test run it. This kit could use a couple more fittings so you can run your lines through the tank and not the lid like the ones in my pictures. Seems like the the timer doesn't have a backup battery to keep time in power outage..I'm sure a digital controller will be coming soon.
