Powerful Digital Dimmable Electronic Ballast

The powerhouse 1000 watt double ended Yield Lab lamp is run off an electronic ballast with an adjustable wattage range, enabling growers to change from 600 watts to 750, 1000 or even up 1150 watts! This customization means that the ballast is compatible with a wide range of double ended grow lamps. This light fixture has also been designed so that the bulb and the ballast are situated close to each other, minimizing the electromagnetic and radio frequency interference which can occur with other grow light fixtures.

Double ended light fixtures also produce higher quantities of both UV and IR light than single ended HPS bulbs, which in turn can result in plants producing a higher concentration of essential oils (thereby increasing the potency of the plant). Since the Yield Lab double ended light fixture runs in a closed and solid state it also benefits from improved heat management and no acoustic resonance.

Double ended grow light kits have been in use by professional horticulturists for over a decade, but it is only recently that the technology has been employed for use in smaller setups. This has resulted in a range of double ended grow light kits that are perfect for private indoor growers. Double ended light fixtures are more stable than the traditional single ended bulb which means they are able to produce a greater level of PAR light output. The double ended light fixtures also benefit from a lifespan that is typically longer and with a slower rate of degradation. Standard single ended lamps will generally reduce their lumen output down to 85-90% after just 4,000 hours of use; in contrast, double ended light fixtures maintain a lumen output of 90% after an impressive 10,000 hours of use.
