The Yield Lab 1000w HPS Cool Tube Hood Reflector Digital Dimming Ballast Grow Light Kit is fully equipped with everything you need for your indoor garden. The Cool Tube Hood reflector offers the same cooling vents as the cool tube, with the added bonus of a 25” x 22.75" hood for extreme coverage! The new Yield Lab digital ballast offers more control over your grow light system and is comparable to Quantum Horticulture Ballasts. Utilizing the dimmable feature allows you to reduce excessive heat during hot days by turning the dimming knob as low as 50% of the light's heat emission ,and lumen intensity during early plant growth and provide high output intensity during later stages. Overall, the Yield Lab dimmable ballast will greatly reduce heat output, prevents burning of plants, improves quality and control, and helps you save time, energy and money. Also included with this grow kit are Yield Lab HPS (High Pressure Sodium) bulbs, a light hanger set, and a free timer. Absolutely wonderful. I use it in my 6x6 space and it lights up the entire room corner to corner. No hotspots. in the summer, I take full advantage of the cooling system and use a 6inch inline fan (yield lab one), and it keeps the room nice and cool. Used this light already for 5 cycles and each harvest gets better and better. Maybe I should get 6 more of these badboys and start selling to the dispensaries )
