At GrowAce, we know how important the structure of your plants is to their health and overall yield. There’s nothing like a grow room full of strong, tall, mature plants with a wide canopy across it. Sure, it’s easy to start those plants off, but once they start to bud and flower, you’ll notice they’ll start to bend a little one way or another. If you don’t do anything about it, your plants won’t get a chance to grow to maturity. That’s why we carry a wide range of Plant Support tools to help your plants grow straight and wide across your grow area.

You ever see those sticks in the ground next to tress and wonder, “Why the heck do they tie a tree to two sticks?” Well, those sticks are what help the tree keep its structure so it doesn’t fall over from the weight of its branches and leaves, uprooting the plant and wasting tons of time and effort (not to mention rendering the plant virtually useless). With the Bamboo and plastic Support Stakes you just gently tie the stem of your plant to each of the stakes, and untie it once the plant is strong enough to stand on its own.

If you want a large canopy across your grow, you’ll want to “top” your garden, and you can do that one of two ways. First, you can use Trellis Netting, so as the plants grow their branches will hit the net and spread across it. Second, you can use smaller stakes to tie the branches of the growing plant to, then plant those stakes in to the medium surrounding the plant. Doing this will train your plants branches to grow out instead of up, giving you a wide canopy area for your plants to absorb light. This is usually done for ScROG grows, but is helpful for any garden looking for lots of canopy for light.
